Welcome to Eco-Rally Racing 2800! Set in the year 2800, humanity has settled on Mars, transforming the once barren planet into a thriving hub for humans, robots, and aliens. In this new world, the battle for environmental supremacy is waged on the racetrack, where eco-friendly Quantium-powered cars clash with the outdated, polluting gasoline vehicles.
As a new generation racer, your mission is to champion the cause of Quantium fuel by competing in high-stakes drag races. Prove that eco-friendly technology is the future by winning the prestigious Fusion Fuel Grand Prix. Your journey will take you through diverse terrains, challenging AI opponents, and hidden side quests that add depth to the racing experience.
Game Features:
Tracks & Scenes:
- Training Track: Perfect for beginners, this track helps you learn the basics of car control and item collection. The training mode will be deactivated upon the completion of one race.
- Urban City: Navigate through a bustling city with narrow roads, pedestrians, and various obstacles.
- Circuit: A traditional racing circuit in an alien world with wide roads, fewer obstacles, but a greater focus on speed and energy management.
- Mountain Track: Tackle narrow, winding roads with varying terrains. Keep an eye out for the hidden mission to free a group of penguins!
Characters & Cars:
- Choose from three different characters: human, robot, or alien. Each character affects driving parameters like steering angle and maximum speed.
- Customize your car's design within each category to suit your style.
Controls:
- W/UP: Accelerate
- S/DOWN: Reverse
- A/LEFT: Turn Left
- D/RIGHT: Turn Right
- Spacebar: Drift
- Shift: Brake
- Q: Use Item
- R: Reset Car
- ESC: Pause/Resume
Developed by the team Code Crusaders (Noah Jonathan Kelley, Kwon Yeol Lee, Ken Ratanavijai, Zijie Su), Eco-Rally Racing 2800 was originally a course project for CS6457 Video Game Design at Gatech. Further developed post-course, it is now shared with the world, thanks to the team's dedication and the guidance of TA Michael Hunter.

Follow the steps below to download and install the game on both Mac and Windows systems.
Recommended Method: Using the itch.io App
Step 1: Download the itch.io App
- Visit itch.io/app to download the itch.io app.
Step 2: Install the itch.io App
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app on your system.
Step 3: Install Eco-Rally Racing 2800
- Open the itch.io app.
- Search for "Eco-Rally Racing 2800" within the app.
- Click on the game and then click "Install".
- The game will be downloaded and installed automatically.
- Once installed, you can easily run the game from within the itch.io app.
Alternative Method: Direct Download
For Mac Users
Step 1: Download the Game
- Download the file EcoRallyRacing2800_MAC.app.zip
Step 2: Unzip the File
- Extract the contents of the zip file.
Step 3: Bypass Mac's Security Restrictions
Due to macOS restrictions on opening unknown apps, you might need complete the step through Terminal.
For Windows Users
Step 1: Download the Game
- Download the file EcoRallyRacing2800_WIN.zip
Step 2: Unzip the File
- Extract the contents of the zip file.
Step 3: Run the Game
- Navigate to the extracted folder and open the directory:
/EcoRallyRacing2800_Win/. - Double-click on
CodeCrusaders_EcoRallyRacing2800.exeto start the game.
